The year of Vargo's 10th anniversary is the year of the VARGO LOUNGE. Ansgar was frequently on the road with his DJ Set to introduce his favourite tunes. At open air festivals such as Antaris, Spiritual Healing or Kultursommer, at his own event VARGO LOUNGE or at corporate events like Destination Camp he demonstrated his fine feeling for atmosphere. His relaxed journeys through sound were featured on two successful compilations this year: LAUSCHKOST 1 and VARGO LOUNGE – 10 YEARS OF CHILLOUT.

Vargo's 10 year anniversary will be accompanied by a very special release: VARGO LOUNGE – 10 YEARS OF CHILL OUTThe compilation is a tribute to the last (and best) ten years of chill out music. The band connected tracks and artists that have accompanied and inspired them during their first decade. With Afterlife, Hattler, Deep Dive Corp., Christophe Goze, Chris Zippel, Carmen Cuesta Loeb a.m.m. Vargo themselves contribute a brand new track: "Those Were the Days". The compilation reached pos.2 in the iTunes electronic charts and stayed in the top ten for two month.
