"I know Dan's books for a very long time now. They've always inspired me and helped me through various situations. It all started with "Everyday Enlightenment", that once smiled at me from a bookstore window. I believe that books always had a great influence on my personal growth. I'd even go so far to say that I've always come across exactly the right books to help me go through whatever specific situation I found myself in and make a decisive step further. Dan's classics are definitely some of them: the two gripping, partly autobiographical books "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior" and "The Sacred Journey of the Peaceful Warrior". It is done. On July 14th, at 5 pm GMT, our "WARRIORS IN THE MIX" contest ended. Participation turned out to be beyond our wildest expectations. 11,000 clicks hit our YouTube channel, which means that the Vargoworld channel reached number 24 of the most watched music channels on YouTube this week. It also means we've found both of our winners. The most clicks - 1.332 to be exact - went to the: SLIM NASR Mix from Egypt In addition, Vargo picked their personal favourite. This is the: SOFTWAVER Lover Mix from Germany Congratulations, you two. As promised, both mixes will be featured on the forthcoming "Warriors" EP. It will be released on August 20th and be available in all online stores. But even if the winners are chosen, you're still in for some exciting stuff. Shortly before the "Warriors" EP is released, you'll be able to hear a snippet of it here on Vargoworld – including mixes from Downbeat legend Afterlife and Ibiza Electronic wiz Ohm-G. There will be nine tracks, every single one of them quite a highlight. And there'll be a surprise coming along with the release. But more about that in August. It is done. Of 53 entries from 22 countries, 26 mixes of the Vargo/Dan Millman collaboration "Warriors" made it to the voting platform on our YouTube channel. The range of interpretations is immense, and every single mix deserves full attention. You can help your favourite mix win the contest. Just spread the word by sending it to your friends or posting it on your Facebook page. Because the mix with the most clicks will win and be included on the Warriors EP to be released on August 20th. Voting wil begin on Tuesday, July 6th, and end on Wednesday, July 14th, 5 pm GMT. The winner will be announced on July 15th here on Vargoworld. And now: have fun voting.

DO YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF THE NEXT VARGO RELEASE? THE WARRIORS – EP? Then create your own version of “Warriors” and participate in the remix contest. Two winners of the contest will get to see their remixes released worldwide on the EP in August. One will be picked by Vargo themselves, the other one by the listeners. Which also means: even if you're not into remixing yourself, your vote will help shape the EP. The track "Warriors" is one of our favourite tunes from the "Precious" album - a collaboration with our friend, the author Dan Millman ("The Way of the Peaceful Warrior"), who not only inspired the song but also lent his rich, wise voice. We're excited that such well-known artists as Afterlife, Ohm-G as well as School of Light will join us as remix warriors on the EP, giving us their interpretation of our Electronic Tribal track. Do you want to be in with your own remix as well? Then take part in the remix contest. And this is how it goes: WHAT TO DO? Send a mail to remix@vargoworld.com with your name and write a few words about yourself. Then we will send you the terms and conditions of the contest. After you agreed to the rules by sending us the signed sheet by fax (0049 4153 2183) or e-mail to remix@vargoworld.com. You’ll get a link and a password to download the remix files (vocals Steffi & Dan, beat & synthline). And then you kick off. WHO CAN TAKE PART? Ansgar backed out for some weeks to his beloved Sadhana Hills Retreat, where he before composed most of the songs from the "Precious“. album. During a period of meditation, silence and fasting he worked on the next Vargo release: The Warriors - EP (feat. Dan Millman). Also some really hot remixers are already putting their hands on the "Warriors" track. More to come soon...

What an experience! The two concerts in the Planetarium Hamburg turned out to be memorable events. The unique location under the dome, the sound, the visuals and the laser effects took band and audience on a fantastic journey. "Floating in light and sound" probably describes our emotions best. Raphael kicked off his DJ set with classical music, which put everyone in an appropriately solemn mood. Vargo then took over electronically with Infinity (and a special space version of Get Back to Serenity in the second gig). Simon Böttcher was behind the extraordinary laser effects, Thomas Kraupe behind the breathtaking visuals. And what made our memory of the evening really special was the absolutely wonderful audience. Inspiered by the EP "Le voyage abstrait deluxe" which was released by Blank & Jones with Raphael, it features a mix of hitherto unpublished versions of Vargo tracks as well as a selection from Chris Zippel, Sambox and Klangstein, that went on a cosmic journey with Raphael.
